Today I'm back with a new style story walking on them, my new combat boots! Who saw my last post - here, where I was sharing my first look with them and some tips about how to style combat boots and how to pick your favourite pair!
After choosing a mini skirt on "black and white" to pair with the boots (here), this time I chose the trendy pleated midi skirt paired with shades of brown. It's so funny to see how I'm enjoying everything brown right now, from toffee to caramel, beiges to whiskeys, oak and chestnut... loving all the brown shades! for a long time I was stuck in black and grey but now I'm really loving these shades so, why not wear all brown everything in the same look?! Too much brown?! hmmm... don't think so :)
STYLE TIP
to wear a one colour look try to pick complementary shades of the same colour, easiest when you play as "ombré" matching the lighter and darker shades all together.
My skirt is little redish brown so it goes well with my burgundy boots, chose the inner layer in the lighter shade and ended up adding another brown shade on the top of the mix, with my wool jacket!
How to tie them all together?! the accessories - the belt, the bag and (in this case) the tights - in black!
We need to play with what we have in our closet so, I thought, as the buttons of the jacket are dark like black, black accessories will do good :)
So all the black and gold in the accessories would match the golden details on my super cool "sassy classy" new combat boots!
